ABOUT US

PARA NUESTRA GENTE

For Our People

For Our People. From Our People.

Para Nuestra Gente means “For Our People.” It’s a commitment to the people who raised us, the neighborhoods that shaped us, and the culture we carry forward.

We are proud Mexican Americans. America is our country. Chicanismo is our culture. We carry both at full strength, without an apology for either.

Sin rebajar. Never watered down.

Our families helped build this country. They worked its fields, built its neighborhoods, served in its military, and raised generations who learned the value of hard work and the meaning of respect. Yet many of us still know what it feels like to have our belonging questioned because of our complexion, our surname, or the way we speak.

Para Nuestra Gente comes from that experience—and from the pride, creativity, and resilience that grew alongside it.

You’ll see it in our designs: the lowriders, the placas, the calaveras, and the neighborhood traditions passed from one generation to the next. You’ll find the humor heard around the kitchen table, the strength of our families, and the care that goes into a clean shirt, a sharp crease, and showing up with pride.

This is a culture we live every day. We put that experience into everything we create.

Three brands carry that spirit, each in its own voice:

Chicano Power Originals

Our history. Our identity. Our convictions. Bold designs rooted in Chicano pride, with something to say and the backbone to say it.

Por Vida

The heart and edge of barrio culture. Lowriders, loyalty, love, and a way of life that stays with you wherever the road leads.

Mi Cultura

The laughter, the food, the family, and the sayings that need no explanation at our table. A celebration of the everyday moments that make this culture ours.

Behind the designs are people who have lived the stories, know the references, and understand why the details matter. Every piece carries that connection—in the artwork, the attitude, and the pride behind it.

We make clothing for people who want to wear that connection with pride.

Para Nuestra Gente. For our people.

If you know, you know. ¡Qué bueno que estás en casa! [How good it is that you’re home!]
